Overview
Dawson Projects engaged Hot Mustard to develop a complete brand strategy and identity system that would support the long-term vision of separate residential and commercial divisions while reinforcing their commitment to trust, quality, and enduring workmanship. Built on a philosophy of doing the job right every time, Dawson Projects has earned a reputation for transparent communication, accountability, and protecting client investments as if they were their own. Our role extended far beyond logo design. Through strategic workshops and discovery sessions, we helped define the company’s positioning, customer promise, key messaging, and visual direction. The resulting brand platform was built around the values of transparency, accountability, craftsmanship, and Kiwi family values, reinforced through the brand promise: “We build to outlast.”
Visually, the identity drew inspiration from architecture and construction, using strong geometric forms, refined typography, and an earthy yet contemporary colour palette to communicate integrity and enduring quality. The project included the development of a complete brand toolkit, including uniforms, signage, vehicle graphics, templates, photography direction, and digital assets to ensure consistency across every touchpoint.
The final result is a scalable and distinctive brand platform that positions Dawson Projects as a premium, trusted construction partner while staying true to their original family values.
